| Eugene Huskey is William R.
Kenan, Jr. Professor of Political Science and Russian
Studies at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. He
received his Ph.D. in 1983 from the London School of
Economics and Politics and taught at Colgate University
and Bowdoin College before joining the Stetson faculty in
1989. He is the author of Russian Lawyers and the
Soviet State (Princeton, 1986, Russian edition
1992), Presidential Power in Russia (Sharpe,
1999), and edited Executive Politics and Soviet Power
(Sharpe, 1992). He has also published more than two dozen
articles on politics and legal affairs in the Soviet
Union and the successor states of Russia and Kyrgyzstan. |
