Natalia Jensen, Editorial Assistant

Natalia is a third year Ph.D. student in Russian and East European History at the University of Kansas. She holds degrees from George Mason University (MA in International Business and Economics, 1998), and University of Kansas (MA in Slavic Languages and Literatures, 2004), and has taught micro- and macroeconomics, English, and Russian at both the college and university levels. Her research interests include Russian intellectual and religious history, Orthodox Christianity, ecumenism, and national identity. Her tentative dissertation title is “The Perspective of Parish Priests of the Russian Orthodox Church in Late Imperial Russia.” She co-edited The Catalyst, a theological journal by Generation X clergy and laity of the Episcopal Church (2000-2002), which won three Poly Bond awards from the Episcopal Communicators’ Conference, and strives to maintain a mens sana in corpore sano by doing Dance Dance Revolution Universe and Wii Fit whenever time permits.
